About Us
"Homestead Orchards" is owned and operated by the Pegg family. Over 20 varieties of
apples are grown in WE-PICK and PICK-YOUR-OWN orchards. They are sorted, packed, processed,
and marketed right on the farm. Our stweardship of the land has a high priority as we take
pride in using environmentally friendly practices such as composting, encouraging the use of
reusable resources, water conservation, and integrated pest management which results in minimal spraying.
Hours
We will be opening on August 29, 2008. Our hours this year are: Tuesday-Sunday 10-5pm, Friday extended hours 10-7pm. We are also open on holiday Mondays 10-5pm
As of November 2, we will be open Thursday- Sunday 10-5pm. We expect our season to last until mid December.

From Newmarket: Go North on Woodbine to Keswick. Go past Zehrs and Canadian Tire. At Homestead Road (Garden Centre on Right), turn right. At first stop sign, turn right and then your next left. Go straight at second stop sign. Watch for us on the right!
From Highway 48: Go North on Highway 48 to Baldwin. Go through Baldwin. Turn left on Homestead Road. Follow Homestead Road west. Watch for us after McCowan Road.
