Orchard Tours
School Tours
Tours are available Tuesday through Friday for September and October, with a choice of morning (starting by 10 am) and afternoon (starting after 12:30). Tours are aproximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours in length.
Included in the tour is a wagon ride to our main orchard. You will learn about the growth cycle of the apple tree and pick a small bag of apples. In the orchard store you will visit our cold storage,
sorting room, and cider room, and sample our chilled and pasturized cider. You will learn about honey bees and the role they play in our orchard, and participate in related activities. Visit our
farm play area with pedal tractors, apple maze, and play centre.
Our program is geared to enhance the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum for grades K-3 (growth and change in plants, observation using all five senses, comparing basic needs of humans with other
living things).

| Prices
Groups of 15 to 25 $4.00 + HST/student
Groups of 6 to 14 $5.00 + HST/student
Teachers and adult helpers are free
up to a ratio of 5:1 (students to adults).
Tours with a different focus or for non-school groups can be arranged on request. Pricing will reflect individual tours.
